SCOPE: Construction of a 5 storey office complex including tenancy fit-out works and basement car parking. The office facility provided 2650m2 of floor space with additional basement car parking for 104 vehicles.
FACTS: Pike Constructions was contracted to build the superstructure and during the course of the project was contracted to fit-out the building for the major tenant and another tenant which totalled approximately 90% of the floor area. The project involved a major site works component with basement car parking 2 levels under ground. With the building encompassing the entire site the 8m deep 20,000 tonne excavation and proximity of the site provided many challenges which Pike Constructions team overcome with great success. The finished product is now a stand out facility located in a premier city fringe address.

SCOPE: Construction of a new 10,400m2 warehouse & 400m2 office distribution facility for Allsons Transport on a 35000m2 site.
FACTS: The project was a major site development of some 35,000m2. The main building was a large scale warehouse with cool rooms, freezers, cold chain loading dock and quarantine wash down facilities. The office components provided 3 areas of high grade commercial space including a 2 storey office along with a stand alone single storey office and despatch facility. The rear hardstand provided 14000m2 of shipping container storage and loading yard designed to accommodate 90 tonne loads.

SCOPE: Construction of a new 1200m2 warehouse and 300m2 office with external hardstand, wash-bay, car parking and landscaping.
FACTS: The project was a purpose built facility for Crane Services. The development provided workshop areas, service pits, office space and crane wash-down bay. The workshop was fitted with a 10 tonne overhead gantry crane along with underfloor air and oil lines to the service pit.

SCOPE: Works consisted of a two storey reinforced concrete office building of 1800 m2. New warehouse of 18,000 m2 and refurbishment of existing buildings including external roadways and landscaping.
FACTS: The 18,000-m2 Adelaide warehouse incorporated hi-tech complexities with 15 overhead magnet cranes capable of lifting 20t and a document vacuum retrieval system. On average the warehouse houses approximately 20,000 t of steel at any one time.

CONTRACT VALUE: $7,200,000.00
SCOPE: Construction of a 12,000m2 facility on a 65,000m2 site. The project included a service workshop, truck wash-bay, spare parts warehousing, part sales centre, offices, driver sleeping quarters, diesel bowser station, car parking & landscaping.
FACTS: The service workshop is fitted with in-floor fluid, air and oil lines and can accommodate 36 prime mover/semi-trailers at any time. It also has 3 service pits with the main pit having the capacity to service 2 BW semi-trailers at one time. The workshop is fitted with an oil heating system which recycles waste oil from the trucks being serviced. The service centre is provided with four 5t gantry cranes.

SCOPE: This was a total site development of 8000m2, constructing a two-tenancy development for our client. Tenancy one provided 2000m2 of warehouse, along with 500m2 of office and retail sales. The second part of the development was for our client’s business, which provided another 2200m2 of warehouse and a two-storey office building.
FACTS: The ground floor to the ACS office building has natural grey polished concrete floors. Each Tenancy was specifically fitted-out to each tenant’s requirements including corporate colours, car parking and associated landscaping.

SCOPE: Works consisted of a two storey reinforced concrete office building of 400 m2. New warehouse of 1880 m2 and external roadways and landscaping.
FACTS: The ground floor to the office building uses a ‘French Mustard’ polished concrete floor finish with matching treads and landings to the stairs. Another feature to the office was the extensive natural lighting.

SCOPE: Construction of a new 1000m2 Freezer with an attached 350 m2 Ante/Loading Room with 4 Tieman Dock-leveller load outs. Extensive fire service upgrade along with associated modifications to the existing concrete floors.
FACTS: The new freezer is connected to the existing warehouses either side of the new facility by mass concrete ramps and covered walkways. The Freezer runs at approximately (minus) -24 degrees and stocks up to 1400 pallets of frozen goods.

FACTS: The office building featured polished concrete floors with distinctive joinery items, stainless steel features and full height glass partitions. The 1st floor of the office was built into a display and trial area where customers could trial the latest clubs and putting equipment.

SCOPE: New site development of 4000m2 including single storey offices, freezer storage, warehousing, car parking & landscaping.
FACTS: The facility was purpose built for the storage of Streets Ice Creams and included an 800m2 freezer room and 400m2 Ante Loading facilities. The freezer could reach temperatures of -20 degrees with the Ante load out area stable at about -4 degrees. The design incorporated the use of twelve 10,000 liter rainwater tanks which provided 120,000 liters of rainwater which was reticulated for the water supply to the refrigeration process.

FACTS: The project was specifically designed and built for our client to suit their tenant’s requirements. The design incorporated work areas such as laboratories, consultation rooms, medical rooms and facilities for the manufacturing of prosthetic limbs.

Waste Water Treatment Plant

SCOPE: Construction of a 1200m2 waste water treatment facility for the storage, separation and re-use of acid based waste product from the car painting process.
FACTS: The facility houses 20 stainless steel waste storage silos and an intricate hydraulic separation system. The entire facility including all internal surfaces, structures and services have been fabricated and treated to resist acid attack in a completely submersed environment. The structure provided a 500m2 ‘Deltacore” mezzanine floor, 18m above ground level for the housing of major plant and equipment.
